Having a whole house humidifier is much more important than just comfort when your house drops in the 20% humidity range in the winter time it can be damaging to your flooring it can dry out your sinuses which can lead to infection even death which seems quite crazy but it can happen also having the humidity that low can lead to skin irritation acme yeah so I always recommend a humidifier now it's what type of humidifier is what is important | most houses are fine with just a standard drip tape humidifier run-off the hot water but somehow says may require steam hot water humidifiers
The Importance a Dehumidifier
Dehumidifiers are also essential in maintaining a healthy home environment. During the summer, it is important to keep humidity levels below 50% to prevent mold growth in the drywall, bathroom, air conditioner coils, and ductwork.
High humidity levels can also affect air quality.
Some air conditioners only run for a few weeks a year and do not effectively dehumidify the air. A dehumidifier can take some of the workload off the air conditioner and allow for a slightly higher temperature in the building, providing comfort and dry air.
